For gifted or deserving students whose parents earn no more than Rs. 1,000,000 annually, scholarships totalling Rs. 1,000,000 are proposed. It’s an NMMS programme that is centrally financed. from all sources, 3,50,000 annually. NMMS Scholarship Selection Process 2023
An applicant with a class VII exam score of at least 55% who has been promoted to Class VIII for the forthcoming academic year. SC/ST applicants should have received roughly half or an equivalent grade, or a B+ for all classifications, in regards to their grades.
To take the exam, an applicant must be enrolled in a high school that is publicly, locally, or privately funded. Anyone making at least 3,50,000 rupees per year, regardless of where it comes from, is qualified to take the exam, including those whose parents make less than that.

A wage certificate from a government employee is acceptable in place of an original income certificate from a Mandal Revenue Officer. The tests are not open to eighth graders who attend Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas, AP/Telangana Residential High Schools, and AP/Telangana Social Welfare Residential Schools.
AP/Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Schools, Government Ashram High Schools, Kasturba Residential Schools, Model Schools with Residential Facilities, or Private Unaided Schools.
