SSC GD Constable Exam 2023
One such exam is the SSC GD (General Duty) examination, which is conducted annually to recruit candidates for the post of constable in various government organizations such as CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and others.
SSC GD Constable Eligibility Criteria
The SSC GD examination is open to both male and female candidates who have completed their high school education (10th standard) from a recognized board or institution. The age limit for the exam is 18-23 years, and there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to certain categories, such as SC/ST, OBC, and others.
SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern
The SSC GD examination consists of a computer-based test (CBT) and a physical efficiency test (PET). The CBT is of 100 marks and comprises four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi Language.
SSC GD Constable Exam Timing
Each section has 25 questions, and each question carries one mark. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes. The PET is a qualifying round and comprises three events: race, long jump, and high jump.

The race is 5 km for male candidates and 1.6 km for female candidates, and the time limit is 24 minutes for males and 8.5 minutes for females. The long jump and high jump are different for male and female candidates.

General Knowledge And General Awareness

Elementary Mathematics
This section tests the candidate’s mathematical skills, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
